Privacy policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This policy explains what information Pulse, Pulse: Pocket, Pulse Online and this website keep about you, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Senaudis Ltd (“Senaudis”, “we”, “us”) makes Pulse and is the controller of the information described here. We are a company registered in Scotland with company number SC906923, and our registered office is at 19a Woodburn Way, Cumbernauld, Glasgow, G68 9BJ. For anything about your information, email contact@pulseonline.co.uk.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, username, password (stored only as a secure hash, which we can't read) and anything you add to your profile.
- Your licence, trial, purchases and Pulse Online subscription: what you bought, when, the amount, the payment status and when a subscription renews or ends. Card and bank details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
- If you apply to be an affiliate: your name, where and how you said you'd share Pulse, and our answer. If you're a Pulse affiliate: your name, email and code, the commission each sale made with your code earns (not who bought), and when we paid it. If you buy with an affiliate's code: the code goes with your purchase, so the affiliate can be paid; they don't see who you are.
- The computer your licence or trial is active on: its name, operating system, Pulse version, and an anonymous identifier made from a hash of the computer's id, so a licence can be used on one computer at a time.
- Pulse Online: your friends list, chat messages, comments, cloud and shared projects, shared mixes, and the audio you choose to save or share, and while you're signed in, whether you're online and which session you're in, so your friends can see it.
- Pulse: Pocket: the recordings and mixes you upload to your Pocket, with their names, lengths and the device they came from.
- Crash reports, only when you choose to send them.
- Messages you send us through the contact page: your name, email address, what you wrote, which account you were signed in to (if any), and a scrambled form of your internet address so the form can't be flooded.
This website uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. When you sign in, it keeps your sign-in in your browser's local storage until you sign out.
Why we use it
We use your information to run your account, licence and subscription and to provide Pulse Online (because it's needed for our agreement with you); to keep Pulse secure, enforce the one-computer licence and stop fraud and abuse (our legitimate interests); and to keep the purchase records the law requires (a legal obligation). We email you about your account, purchases and important changes. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who it's shared with
- Supabase stores accounts, the database and uploaded files for us, on servers in Ireland (EU).
- Stripe takes payments, and where it handles a sale for us as reseller it is also responsible for the payment and tax information it keeps. Stripe may process information in the United States, under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
- Klarna or Clearpay, only if you choose to pay in instalments with them.
- IONOS hosts this website and keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) for security.
- Google Fonts supplies the typeface this website uses. Your browser fetches it from Google, which receives your IP address as with any web request; it sets no cookies.
- The people you collaborate with see your username and online status if you're friends, and whatever you choose to share with them in a session or shared project.
We may also share information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or other people's, for example in response to a copyright complaint.
How long we keep it
We keep messages from the contact page for up to 12 months, and the emails we exchange with you for as long as we need them to help you.
We keep your account information while you have an account. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and your cloud content within 30 days, except purchase and payment records, which UK law requires us to keep for six years.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to limit it, and ask for it in a portable format. To do any of these, email contact@pulseonline.co.uk from your account's email address. We'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Children
Pulse accounts are for people aged 13 and over. If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in Pulse or by email, and the date above will change.
